For those that have, or are looking to purchase Lowrance electronics, you can download emulators from the Lowrance website. This neat feature allows you to learn your sonars by tinkering with settings, options, and simulations, all from your PC or laptop! Just click on the link below, select your sonar model, and download. It is an easy way for anglers to learn about all the features and options available on Lowrance sonar equipment. The software includes previous models and the latest electonics available. Best of all, it's free! www.lowrance.com/en/Downloads/Product-Emulators/

This will come in real handy after they all get new units for Christmas and are going batty with cabin fever. I have been to Lowrance site more times than I can count and hadn't seen this. Thanks for the link.

If you have a card reader for your computer you can save a log while on the water and then play it back on the emulator. That way you can play with the settings to see how you want them.
